I used to play around and even perform magic (close up) for all ages when I was a teenager. Many years later after giving up magic I found myself desiring to relearn my skills. It's refreshing to watch a teaching that deals with movements that we take for granted. Shuffling, spreading, offering a selection, replacing a card, it all seems so basic, but it really is about displaying openness and fairness, and that is what I took away, besides the details of handling, from these foundational card tutorials.

With "The Shuffle System", Aaron has erased years of sloppy handling from my overhand shuffle and gotten me seriously interested in learning to handle a pack of cards. This is an awesome way to start card magic. It's even an awesome way to check your original structure. Aaron has a great understanding for making it look like you hardly touch the deck when you perform and really applying a Tamariz approach to card magic. So it's structured as Technique- How to sell it- Effect/Applications- Go try it out. These are awesome! Start with 1 and keep going. He refers back to previous episodes the further you go.
